it's back to sch again... readings n more readings. n i hav one whole pile, sad :( . at least i hav a 3-day wk until tut starts, yeah!!! so far, the level 3000 modules seem more appealing ... hav to visit 7 temples for my religion in china n japan tutorial, interesting huh... looking forward to it.

day 1 - 9 aug
took a 14 hr ride via train... super long journey...

day 2 - 10 aug
finally reached tanah merah... took a 30 min taxi ride to the jetty... then took a speedboat to pulau perhentian
bubbles...
the speedboat we sat in was super fast, scared me half to death... tot i wld fly out of my seat into the water cos it was so bumpy plus the seawater kept splashing onto us. it was like a 30min roller coaster ride lah! a short roller coaster ride is ok w me... bt 30 mins is too much... ahhhhh. haha, nw i have speed boat phobia... sounds kinda stupid... luckily gt stopped by the coastal guard halfway for nt putting on lifejackets... zx n sm were complaining tt the CG were taking so long cos they felt like puking n wanted to get the ride over n done with... heheh, bt i was kinda happy n relieved tt the boat finally stopped...

the beach is so beautiful n serene... its kind of like some private beach so there weren't many ppl there... so less pollution... really a great place to relax n enjoy nature... heavenly!!!
went snorkeling too. snorkeled for a while in the shallow end b4 giving up... the water kept entering the mask n i kept choking on the water, felt like drowning... tot it was becos i didnt noe hw to breathe properly. bt found out later tt my snorkeling mask was faulty cos sm used my mask the nxt day n exped the same prob...sian... didnt snorkel much while sm, lw n zx went to the deeper end to see the corals... i wanna go also!!! bt i dun dare... gt phobia becos of the snorkeling mask... i'm a scaredy cat

day 3 - 11 aug
went trekking on the newly opened trail... lots of ants and spiderwebs, but pretty fun overall
had to check out at 4pm n take a speedboat back to the jetty. speedboat phobia again... bt tis time it wasnt tt bad cos it was A LOT LESS bumpy... due to prior exp, sm, lw n i decided to wear our jackets w the hood on to prevent our hair frm becoming wirey n tangly due to the sea water... haha, i think we looked like crazy ppl wearing jackets under the hot sun...lol. shopped ard for like 6 hrs at tanah merah while waiting for our night train. bought a cuddley patrick star for my sis... partly becos i wanted it too...heheh. n it's another long 14 hr ride back to spore....
